We will be adding more transcripts here as they become available. Right now, we’re starting with some of the oldest meetings so you could see what Samuel’s teachings were like early in his work.
During this lively, laughter-filled meeting Samuel covers a wide range of topics. He begins with how our last few weeks have shown us what we need for healing and wholeness, and which behaviors are “level one” and “level two.” Samuel then shifts to Questions and Answers featuring David Oldham as Source. Samuel playfully answers questions about the 2008 group trip to Mexico, including its “airy-fairy” aspects; how to get ready for the upcoming retreat; the 2007 New Year’s Eve ritual; and the difference between ceremony and ritual.
Using the spring equinox as a backdrop, Samuel talks about the importance of a balanced life in creating a year that flows more easily, allowing us to better fulfill our purpose as Guardians. He discusses: symptoms of a life in balance versus a life out of balance; the error of seeking success while motivated by fear of failure; learning a way to avoid pain, suffering and failure; tools for balance; the power of knowing what feeds us, what we’re good at, what our strengths are and what our sabotages are.
During this evening filled with laughter and wisdom Samuel answers questions on a wide range of topics which includes: lessons Guardians can learn from sporting events; the individual and collective effect of Star-Weaving and Toning; our relationship with our greater selves; his thoughts about the completion of Sacred Status; the dragon force of the Yucatan; and much more.
In Samuel’s first meeting of the year he shares information and tools that will help us make the best of 2008—and the rest of our lives. Samuel’s discussions include: why embracing change with love eradicates fear; managing the chaos we find in our lives and in the world by taking baby steps; the common basis of our fears; and why fear-based habits are the hardest to change.
Samuel uses the holiday season as the vehicle for an evening of powerful teachings, including a story about a farmer and a lost flock of migrating geese to illustrate his key points. Samuel’s discussions include: how fearing change puts a price on our happiness; why there is an imperative for us to be ready and able to be what is needed; the importance of knowing that despite knowing the limitations of form, we chose to be here now, at this time of transition; why Guardians have hope beyond that which most have; and why we must trust rather than believe.
Samuel’s primary focus at this meeting is the need for us as Guardians to be masterfully aware of the “weight” of our thoughts, words, and deeds, lest we continue sabotaging the good in our lives. He discusses: how neutral thinking is damaging not only to the planet, but to our personal lives; the ramifications of not recognizing our power and why even unintentionally misusing it boosts the “darkness” in the world; why we see that which we want to see and the benefit of seeing all things from a higher perspective; determining if the “shoulds” this holiday season outweigh the stress, fatigue, and overwhelm they bring.
Samuel begins the meeting discussing the many “lives” we lead and the importance of living consciously. He uses the recent death of a dedicated Phoenix Institute volunteer as the backdrop to illustrate how others are affected by our lives when we know what we are here to do, remember the bigger picture, and live love without judgment. Samuel then discusses the importance of discernment, including: why the reasons behind our choices are more important than the choices themselves; why discernment is a statement about not fearing life; and the importance of always learning about our selves.
In this Labor Day message Samuel discusses the things we labor on in our lives with topics including: the rules and boundaries in our lives that we choose to obey or to ignore, what those choices mean, and the reasons behind them; what the Universe really wants for us; how to cut the ties to a slavery we’ve allowed in our lives for too long; and the need for us to start over.
Too often, Samuel says, fear controls our lives, keeping us from truly living. In this meeting Samuel encourages us to regain that control by recognizing and facing our fears, seeing fear as a friend, understanding fear’s great purpose in our lives, learning how to bring completion to our lives and our fears, and seeing why fear flees when we are fully alive.
During this meeting Samuel’s discussion includes the importance of being balanced in the physical, mental/emotional, and spiritual arenas of our lives; spiritual independence; the law of attraction and repulsion and its impact on the people and experiences that are drawn to us; how to create personal empowerment and avoid disempower¬ment; the power of connecting with others of like intent; why a point of power is created when our actions meet resistance.
