Samuel: Hello, dears.

Hello, Samuel.

S: All right. So how are you?

Good.

Busy.

S: Aye. A lot been going on in your life. Aye. I’ve noticed. And are there any others of you in here that might say the same sort of thing, that your life’s been fairly busy lately. A lot of things going on. How are you managing with it?

One step at a time.

S: Anybody taking two steps at a time? Five steps at a time? It’s where overwhelm starts to come in.

I’m talking tonight about two doorways, or perhaps it might be better to say moving through two doorways. How to move through two doorways. And I’m talking about that because you’re at a point right now where you’re about to have a big change in your life. And since with most individuals here, life’s a whole lot better when you know what’s coming up, I thought we might discuss some of the things that are going to be coming up.

The first doorway, however, has to do with perhaps a small thing with large effects. And I’m not going to be talking a long time about it, but I will be coming back around to it.

Who here is aware of what is going on cosmically in your coming month? Aye. What is it?

A solar eclipse.

S: An eclipse in there, yes.

Planetary alignment.

S: Interesting planetary alignment. What does that sort of thing mean? You know that I do not usually talk to you about things of astronomical or astrological significance, because they are generally such minor players they do not have an effect on your free will. They are simply a filter for energy. So why, all of a sudden, is this one of interest? Anybody got any background idea here?

I remember Harvey speaking to us about this after the New Year’s ritual, and he said that the upcoming planetary conjunction is unprecedented. And when he used that word, it kind of rang a bell with me, so I’ve been remembering that part.

S: Are you telling secrets now, Harvey? That’s all right. That’s good. Unprecedented.

I have a guess. A couple of years ago we had Recalibration, and we had Recalibration earlier, I remember you saying, than originally planned possibly. That we were ready earlier.

S: All right, just to make sure that we’re not talking New Age-ese here—Recalibration?

Recalibration was the recalibrating of the earth’s and our blueprints to allow a greater incoming of energy to this vessel, and our job has been to strengthen our vessel so that we can accept the energy.

S: A focus of energy, a focus of intent, of thought, of word, of deed, all as a means of bringing about or pushing through, perhaps, the next great stage in the completion of the spiritual process of this planet, of the life force upon it, requiring a recalibration, meaning a strengthening of the vessels of life force in order for higher energy to be able to function within that vessel without it breaking the vessel. And as a bit of background for yourselves, if you look back over your last five years, about in the middle of it you will notice changes, likely radical changes in the way you think, in the way you live. You have been profoundly affected by the working of Recalibration, whether or not Recalibration was a means of allowing your physical blueprint to be able to hold a higher energy.

And why my sense is that this is possibly very significant is that this is catch-up time in many ways for the earth, as well as this might have been, in my fantasy, more of the scheduled time that we might have gone ahead and had Recalibration if we hadn’t been a little ready early. And that this is a greater in-pouring of light and energy, [so] that hopefully we’ll be better prepared for physically to shift with the earth.

S: A guess?

Maybe a get.

S: That’s a good one, a very good one. More.

If previous to this time it’s just been a filter, and that’s why you didn’t focus on it, then obviously this time it’s more than a filter and the intensity of that energy is going to affect us in a different way so that you feel like you wouldn’t be dealing with it if it was just a filter like it was before. So this is obviously much more of an immediate effect upon us as spirit and form synthesize.

S: Somebody very quickly explain to me about yellow Volkswagens.

If you have an awareness that says you want to purchase a yellow Volkswagen, and you seem to bring . . . you raise your consciousness, so to speak, so that all you see are yellow Volkswagens on the highway.

S: Aye, you thought you were getting something rare, and unusual, and all of a sudden you see them everywhere. And a corollary to that one is you start seeing them everywhere because you’ve become aware of them, and you stop thinking they’re rare and unusual. That’s the bad part. And in a very large sense, the changes that you’ve been bringing into your life, with or without awareness, begins with all of a sudden you become so aware of how different things are. You begin focusing on the changes. It might not be necessarily positive ones either. You might be aware that you’re sort of tired or confused, or you might have a sense that there is so much going on or all of a sudden everybody you know is having a spiritual awakening, or, or, or. And on it goes. There are all manners of choices here. You might be aware that political structures are changing, economic structures are changing, that corporate structures are changing, that the various acceptable level is shifting. And at first you’re paying so much attention to it, you’re tracking it, and then you start thinking it’s stopping, because you’ve become used to it.

You might find that particularly in yourself. You’ve had a spiritual experience that brings you a sense of epiphany, an absolute awareness of love, and it changes you. And you love that feeling. And you love how people are so drawn to it. And you even do not mind that every issue that you have is brought up, because you see that as a process of becoming more whole and more aware. And then it seems it stops. And it’s not that it has stopped; it’s that you have grown used to it. It’s that you are no longer seeing yellow Volkswagens.

When that happens, however, it’s always a statement that in one form or another a very large change is coming about. Be aware, however, that it’s not because nothing has been happening. Change has continued, but you have grown familiar with it. It’s not long new to you.

Just as a very quick aside here, I would also like to give you your extra nickel’s worth here. So very often individuals talk to me, and they say, “Samiel!” Give that to me in a good whine.

[As a group] “Samuel. ”

S: “Samuel, everything was going so well, and now everything’s changing.” All right, maybe not quite that dramatic. And you find yourself in response to things that are going on in your life becoming more and more controlling, finding within yourself a strong desire to be able to determine just how affected you’re going to be by the things that are going on around you.

[Member of the audience snorts.] Yes, I recognize that snort. You’ve come to a place in your experience in which, because you have put locks on what you choose to recognize, you think that what’s coming your way has slowed down or stopped. You think that because you’re not feeling the emotional disturbances—that might have a connotation I wasn’t looking for there—the waves of change, because you’ve come to where you’re not fending, but welcoming, because you’re not necessarily sure that there’s a whole lot going on with you, because life is not havoc, only busy. It becomes easy to stop doing the things that brought you to that point of power, to that point that you could handle the things that were coming with you easily—and even to the point where you became so used to them you became numb. And then what begins to happen is you start feeling alienated, separated, dead. Those are the steps. Those are the steps.

Epiphany. Incredible, dramatic, delightful awareness. You are in love—truly. Raging hormones, in love with the Universe. You become familiar with it, so you start setting up what it’s about in your life. You start creating your own rules as to why it does or does not affect you in particular ways. You begin creating your own personal interesting series of how you get what you get. Sort of like a pitcher in a ball game.

Baseball.

S: That’s the one, baseball—that has to [mimics a pitcher in his wind-up]. This is the system that works. This is what did it. This is what I will do forever. Constantly seeking the epiphany again, but no longer doing that which brought it to you. You become so used to power that you forget to use it well.

At the middle of this month, you’re going to have a series of solar events that actually culminate about the middle of the month. Generally speaking these events have little effect on your planet, because the mass consciousness of the life force on the planet is not awakened enough to be able to make use of that energy. But over the last thirty or forty months, massive changes have been going on in your world. Mass consciousness of humanity has been making changes. You are aware of this, but the planet itself, which is a living being as well, has also been making changes.

If you were to take a five-year-old, and say to that five-year-old, “I’d like for you to write a discussion on the Treaty of Versailles,” all right, that five-year-old is likely to say, “Huh?” It takes certain events that have created a storehouse of knowledge to be able to act on something that is known. Wisdom. A five-year-old might have been told something once with that information or even some of those same words in it, but until that five-year-old has had enough experience with that information, it means nothing, it has no effect. Eventually there becomes a point where it starts coming together, probably about fifty. And everyone in here fifty and older is very smug all of a sudden. Oh, good. It was a joke. Where all of the bits come together to make a whole picture.

The bits of things that have been going on with the life force of the planet over the last forty or so months are coming together. This is a doorway that I’ve been waiting on for a very long time. The doorways that were opened in the two Heart Portals of the planet thus far are doorways of a specific frequency being activated again on the planet. Any energy change affects all energy. Elementary physics.

The planet has open doors to high frequency life-force hierarchical energy now that it has not had before. One is not enough; two allows a beginning. And that’s what you’re coming upon, but it’s the planet’s recalibration. It’s affected by this energy surge.

How many of you have gone to a country which has an electrical system different than your own, and you have plugged in your hair dryer and eventually melted it right down. Aye. The Heart Portals are transformers, just as in your own physical body. The heart is the transformer, even with people.

So the energy that’s being given is going to be able to be used for the first time in eons. Eons. That means the process has begun. Put on your seatbelt.

Speaking that it’s the Heart Portal that this energy moves through, I’d like the same sort of definition about Heart Portal as you gave me for Recalibration. Let’s not get into language that nobody understands when it’s something that’s actually a very simple explanation. What are Heart Portals?

Heart Portals are representations, aspects of Source that are around the planet.

S: Aye. Sure. Sure. Areas on your world that function at a very high frequency—or at least do now. You are going to be affected by this change. It probably takes about three weeks [or] five weeks for the world to be affected by it. But watch; you’ll see.

And so what is it you can do? Well that’s the other doorway. And as that’s the other doorway, this might be the most important message I’ve ever given. Bottom line right now: what can you do? Love. Love. That’s always the bottom line. There is no other. But it’s very important that you recognize that the sort of love that’s being asked of you now is radically different than love [as in] “Love your neighbor as you would yourself.” That’s the message for a beginner.

“Excuse me Samiel, I come to these first Sundays because you make me laugh and it’s always fun, and I’m not having fun yet.” Thus far, you have been airy-fairy and serious, and I would like for you to stop. I’m hearing that from some of you now. So you’d best put up with it. Ah, you see, you’ve already got a whole bowl full of rocks, so watch out. And I’m talking about pitching already.

Your planet at every sacred point, at every Heart Portal—not every sacred point, but every Heart Portal—is a crystalline structure. Now, of course, ultimately the core of your planet, the mantel, it’s crystalline, just as you are. But the Heart Portals, they are always on, and surrounded by, in one form or another, a crystal base. It’s because high-frequency expressions of information are there. The earth’s instinct, just as you have instinctual knowledge, the equivalent, the best I can do for you just like this. You could say that those are points of the earth’s instinctual knowledge, its heritage of wisdom. Or another way you could say it: points in which information has been seeded, waiting for the opportunity for it to spring forth. The rocks cry forth. He who has ears let him hear. Two widely variant statements, both of which are saying the earth holds information, and that there is so much more out there than what you hear or see or smell or taste or feel, or think, but it’s all right there, out in the open, waiting.

At this time of change, the love that is asked of you is, for the sake of creating perhaps a last-minute holiday message, very much the love that Valentine’s Day is about. Are you scared yet? Because you see Valentine’s Day, which is a lovely sort of holiday that has become linked to romance and intimate love and a celebration of relationships and the coming together of individuals, is loosely based on one of several Valentines, but the most famous of which was martyred for doing what he found was best. Do not misunderstand what I am about to say next. Let me follow it through. But ultimately you will make it through this coming time, you will be able to serve the planet you have come here to serve. You will have the effect on humanity that you have come here to effect when you choose to die.

Now, let me follow that through. Meaning to release the needs of ego that bind you to this current self and system. The needs of ego that keep you from loving and serving. The need to define self [that is]based on the old epiphany, the old Volkswagen, and is keeping you from the life you are here to have. That particular Bishop Valentine, so the story goes, was killed because he chose to perform ceremonies of union when they had been outlawed. The Christian version of it is that they were choosing to marry under the Christian banner rather than under the banner of the Roman gods, which was outlawed. The Roman version is that they were doing it to get out of going to war, having to serve. It doesn’t matter. The point is, he gave up his life in doing the work. And my point is, if you don’t give up your life, you will not live. You will not be alive while you only live. How can I differently say it? If you continue to see yourself as only human, you will get to be only human. If you insist on having a very pat version of what your world is about, you will get to live in that narrow tunnel of what your world could be. If you must choose being a part of the crowd, the familiarity of the average, if what your heart tells you is put aside lest what your head tells you get shaken up a bit, if you must hold so fast to the skin that you lose the heart, you’ll wish you really were dead. And some of you have lived that already. And some of you who have lived that already in your life and have pulled yourself out of it have followed the same pattern yet again of having the next great epiphany, and loving the experience, and allowing it to change you to the point that you become used to the change, and you do not keep moving with it.

Understand what I’m saying. Sacrificing self means releasing the hardened, rigid construct that you have so carefully tended and perfected as a means of hiding your heart from the world. It’s safe, this persona that everyone else thinks is you. You know better. The sacrifice of self, however, is not meant to be death. It’s meant to be rebirth. The first birth by water, the second by fire. And that fire, beloved ones, could possibly, maybe, maybe, be speaking of an opportunity for you to be born into the frequency of the Seraphim themselves, the angels of fire. Seraphim. [Tries out different pronunciations.] Seraphim. Seraphim. And you who have come here specially tuned, literally and figuratively encoded with the very strands of cosmic awareness woven through your body, your mind, your heart, your biochemical structure, the very foundation of you, hold the dust of the birth of universes. And you, as a result, are tuned to that same biomagnetic structure wherever else it is found, and by that connection can become more whole, more aware, because of it. You are drawn to others with that same heritage.

Being unsafe, however, they must be guarded against, because that stimulates within you that crystalline rapture—and I meant that word—awakening. And so you find it easier to experience the smaller levels of that ancient energy that can be found in the creatures, or the ancient trees, or even the rocks, particularly the crystals, because they stimulate your resonance, because your resonance speaks to them. And you feel more whole. It’s why humans seek relationships. It’s why when you are without one, you’re fine; that you don’t need one, you’ve learned to say to me. And yet in your heart you know it’s what you want. And so you give me the words, all right I don’t need, but I want. It’s because you seek filling further pieces of the composite you are. And with this change in the middle of your coming month you are going to be finding that the planet itself sends out its call to you. And it’s going to ask you to sacrifice, not your first born child. The second one? No. That which keeps you from healing it, being it, experiencing its life force. To sacrifice that which separates you from wholeness to become, to experience, to have, at-one-ment.

[Picks up a bowl of rocks.] Hello. These are for you that you might remember. And while you are choosing them, I’ve got a story for you.

Jim, love, would you come serve? And David, hanging out back there. Joan, love, would you? To just pass them around until they’re gone. Hand them through. They’ll call out who goes where. Thank you.

Once upon a time . . . I collected all the rocks that you collected in your past lives, and I’m giving them back now. Should be marbles. Once upon a time—oh, you know the drill—in a galaxy far, far away, there was a being of great light and immense love who, in the middle of the convention one day, happened to glance down at a beautiful little planet and the life force upon it floating in space, and said, “You know, looks like that pot needs a bit of stirring. I think it might be time to go visit.” And needing a disguise, as often the case is, lest the countenance of that one blind those who saw it to the importance and the energy that was being offered, it took a disguise, something that the people on that lovely planet could manage to deal with. It took the disguise of a great winged light bearer, indeed, a warrior, cloaked in the raiment of heaven itself. See it, because your heart remembers exactly what I’m talking about. Let your mind see it. Tall and strong and such a blinding light that you could wonder if you were actually seeing features at all. Wearing armor. That’s what it looked like, armor, and holding a great sword with ease, a sword that cut through illusion, making that a very dangerous being indeed.

That being came to the planet and found that the disguise was too good. Apparently he functioned at a frequency that was so fast that most humans could not see him at all, although many, indeed most, could sense some sort of change. And usually those who could see him were children, and they usually thought of him as their own personal guardian, which was perfectly fine. And the others who could usually see him were those who were right at the doorway of transition, who at the very last moments of their lives would look up and say, “The angels are here.” Angel! Ha! No angel that. But indeed winged. Great massive structures of light that had absolutely nothing to do with flight.

He found that those who could see him created a small group of individuals who recognized the energy. There was something about that energy that resonated with them, and that, they figured, is why they could see. And one day massive changes began happening on that beautiful planet, and that energy said, “Do not fear. Do not fear. This is that time of power and glory that has been foretold. This is the preparation for the great change in consciousness that is required for the planet and all life force upon it to reach the completion of this great experience. This is good.” But they feared; they feared as humans will do. And one brave soul finally said to him, “You do not understand. You’re not here really, and we are. We’re in the very trenches.” You know, you’ve always called it that. “We have the limitations that form offers, and we’re afraid of what’s next. It feels like I’m standing at the very edge of a great precipice, and I cannot see what’s at the bottom. I cannot see what the next step would be, because everything seems to be in something of a mist. I only know that I cannot go back. And so, I’d rather just stay here at the edge and know I’m safe, than risk falling from this lofty height I’ve worked so hard to get to.”

Now, you know, warriors of light have a hard time understanding fear. What is there to fear? And while that group was standing about, looking at the precipice, and trying to wait for the mist to clear, a child walked up and said, “I am afraid not of going over this cliff, but of going over without you.”

Do you know what that being did? He took a sword of light and he looked around at those gathered people, and he said, “There is nothing to fear. You’re not alone. Let me show you.” And he took that great sword and lifted it high, and stretched out a great wing and cut if off. Well, of course, the people in the crowd immediately understood what was happening. Ah, he’s becoming like us. He’ll understand now, because by the majesty becoming human, it sort of evens things out. Balancing power, good. And that great light-bearer took that wing, and gave it to the child. The child, of course, sort of looked up thinking, Nice, what am I going to do with one wing? Now we’re both crippled. Ah, the honesty of children. Until that great angel embraced the child, and together they could fly.

The nature of what this is about is not that there are those who have the power and those who do not. Those who have it are just as afraid as those who do not, but for different reasons. I’ve got these wings, what am I going to do with them? They make me fly. I get airsick. Or surely I will. I never have before, but I know I will now, because I’m certain I’m going to abuse this. Those without the wings, of course, they say, I’m empty. I’m alone. There’s nothing I have.

And it does indeed appear that you’re crippling yourself when you give what you have to another, and you take off your very wing. The heritage, the only thing that separates you, so it appears—and it’s true. Even such a being of light would be useless, but for the embrace of love. Together we can fly beyond this. Together, in unity, there is hope.

The doorway to your planet is one of a massive outpouring of high frequency energy that seeded this planet. It’s the return, but even energy such as that gives its wings to you that together you can move beyond. The nature of this world now is not to look into the heavens and see the angels, and love them from afar and know they are not you. It is to open your heart, take one of those wings, embrace the light of love, and step off the cliff. Do not go softly.

Samuel: Hello, dears.

Hello, Samuel.

S: So how are you feeling?

Good.

S: Aye. Did you drag yourself out of your sick bed to make it? Feel good? Aye.

Important night tonight. I’m going to talk tonight about how to ensure you are perfectly human. And how to ensure you’re not. And because it is somewhat moving into that season, I’m going to use the life—well, perhaps not exactly the life, more the ending few moments—of Christ Jesus’ experience here on the planet as the examples of how to allow your humanity and how to allow your divinity to function in the world. And particularly while I’m speaking, you might be wanting to think about all of those times you have said, Samiel how is it I know what it is I should be doing, and how it is I should be doing it? Because ultimately the bottom line of the answer is, in your divinity you’re doing it, in your humanity you’re waiting on it.

I want to move quickly with this tonight, because the points are so easy, simple, that I would rather you had the opportunity to let it move through than for me to try to string together all of the words that are going to make it float the boat.

Let’s make this a working of the light. [Candle is lit.] That’s how angels work, you know. They have what’s needed at the moment.

Thank you, love. Oh, stop showing off. Thank you, love. Ah, you know those salamanders.

All right, the first thing I want to ask is, Why is it I would be using the Christ Jesus for the examples? Why? First, let’s speak calendar; what is it there?

Easter.

S: Aye, you’re getting close to that Easter time. Aye. And all of the holidays that surround that time. Sure, that’s a good one. But why particularly that direction?

Because he was required to live in human form and show that there was also a spark of divinity in us, and how to live that, and how to stay . . . he worked a lot with the people, and yet also had to work beyond his own human issues.

S: Because divinity in form was here as an example, and that’s true. Frank.

He’s probably the best, for the Western society, the most universally known example of someone in form living at their highest potential.

S: All right. That works. Paula.

Because you’re teaching us about Christ Consciousness right now, and that’s why we have […].

S: And that’s true, although actually where I’m going with Christ Consciousness has very little to do with the life of Jesus, truly. But yes, there is a flow that can be found here.

Well, He’s just a really good role model.

S: Absolutely. All right. Let me try this question just a little bit differently. What was He for you, for this time. For this time. How about that?

He was the avatar of the Piscean Age.

S: Sure. Sure. The avatar, which means? Can anybody translate before it gets too . . . ?

Savior.

Teacher.

S: All of that can work. That which was here to bring about a transition in the frequency of energy by which mass consciousness functioned. Avataric energy. The highest level of spirit cloaked in form. Sounds slightly familiar, doesn’t it? Touching a few places here and there.

Because for this particular time . . . let me back up and change that sentence a bit, all right? For the Piscean Age—this particular past two thousand and so years, give or take ten minutes—the energy that has been sent to this planet as a means of helping to bring about the great change has been through the personage of Jesus, through the work of Christ. Did you get that? And using that life as an example is something that many of you in this room certainly had, because Western society has a very strong connection into Christianity as a foundation of primary religious thought. And there’s mouthfuls of things not being said there. Allowing yourself to take a look at what went on in that life, allowing yourself to have an understanding of how that information has been preserved for you, allows a perspective that might be exactly what you’re needing tonight.

Now, usually, when you’re going to tell a life story what you do is you begin with “Once upon a time a child was born,” but in this particular case, certainly to bring across the point that I’m wanting to bring to you, it comes instead with “Once upon a time there was a great trial.” Kangaroo court. Kangaroo court—now that’s an interesting thought, isn’t it? A mockery indeed it could be said. And this trial was, whether or not the life of Jesus of Nazareth, the son of the carpenter Joseph, would be allowed to continue in his radical ways

Now, this is where I want this story to begin, all right, right before this trial, but I’m taking you to that point in life, what you would think of, perhaps, as the end of it. I want first to go to how to be human. And to do that what I’m going to do is take you to the very people who specifically chose to follow that one, that light. I’m going to take you to those who had said they would give their very lives for him, to those who had a vision of what could be, because I believe that in your life you can relate to those individuals. Those who were, indeed, the—somebody say the word for me—so I can remember it.

Disciples.

S: Disciples. Disciples. I always want to say dis-apples. Doesn’t quite fit. First time I said that, I had several people in the room just stare at me. Dis-apples? What’s that? Aye. Made sense to me.

Those who said they were the disciples, the students, of that great teacher, the friends of that great love, who walked with Jesus.

Over the last couple of years, three years, they had been experiencing probably the time of their life, probably the time of their life, seeing a radical change in thought come their way. They heard teachings that made it make sense for them even though they were not the teachings that they had grown up with. They weren’t quite the teachings that they felt safe with. Sometimes that’s the fun part of it, though. But they recognized a truth that went beyond what their neighbors would say, and what their families would say. They recognized a love, and indeed in the writing afterwards, that is a remarkable part of the teachings that has absolutely stayed. Those men and women, do not be fooled, were touched by the love, because they all spoke of it.

It was a time of coming into themselves, and many of you can relate to that kind of awakening in which, in your life, you become aware, and it does not have to be a teacher, because, indeed, as you awaken, as you grow, and as you change, you become more adept at gaining your teacher in everything you see and do. The awakening of your spiritual awareness, your ability to see and give love at levels never before experienced. The recognizing truth as it touches within you, even if it’s not exactly the truth that everyone else you know goes for. You can relate to that group. So I want to talk to you a bit about what happened to them.

Let’s start their story at that famous Last Supper. Now you know what they were really doing there was partying. They were coming together, the large group of them. They had rented their own hall, they had the best of the foods brought out, and they were just having a good time. Planning what was coming next, watching everything that was going, probably had their own little conversations going with each other. Having a good old time. Slowly they watched one depart, then another, then another, and they realized that the party’s breaking up. Do you think they knew that the end was near? We’re talking individuals who have dedicated their life to the avataric energy of this full age. They were there, touching that magic every day. Do you think they got in their “five-minute sitting” that this is the last time we’re going to ever come together like this? Why not? Probably two very human reasons why. The first one is, it never occurred to them that things were going to go anything differently than the way it always does, that change would happen, ever. In fact, in a very human sort of response, in all likelihood they had their own expectations of what it was going to do.

When Jesus finally got up off of his sacred duff and took over and made everything all right for us all, “Well, of course, I’m his best friend so I’ll be the first person in charge.” “No, no, no, you won’t; I will be.” “Well, I’m his best friend.” “No, I’m his best friend.” They had their own vision of how everything was going to work out, and as a result, the now passed them by. And another reason was that not a one of them asked him.

All right, look, you are spending your life dedicated to the vision of this one whom you recognize as the next great answer. You have been there for the most incredible miracles, haven’t you? And you forget to do the simple stuff, such as [ask yourself], Is everything going all right? How are things flowing? What is your vision of this vision? If they had been able to move out of themselves and their version, they might have been able to be prepared, but it’s a very human thing to not take advantage of the wisdom that is available, especially if it interferes with the expectations you’ve carefully cultivated. So right there, that starts this interesting journey.

If you’re following along in the most typical of stories, what is the next sort of thing that happens in this pathway?

Conflict.

S: Conflict. Yes. Can you be a bit more specific there?

Well, I was going to say there would be more like a crisis would happen. There would be a tension that would build.

S: All right. How would this be? One of your very best friends goes out and turns you over to cops.

I would think one would feel a sense of betrayal.

S: Yes, indeed, it is very much betrayal. That’s a very human thing. You have disappointed me. I am going to go tell somebody something. And did.

Now, some of you may know that I actually count Judas as one of the prime players in this great drama. He gets the short shrift quite often, but think about it for a moment. If he had not been willing to be the low man on the totem pole, it might have been a lot harder for Christ to do what He came to do. But nonetheless, the point that I’m making here right now is what happened. A disappointed follower went and got the religious authorities to take a very big step, to call out the civil authorities. And, indeed, how many times in your own life have you had a version of that happen to you? Or maybe even by you. It’s one of the more stupid human tricks.

While that was going on, Jesus went to the garden to pray. Now what you might want to see here is that he asked [the disciples] to go with him, to stand guard, to watch, that the first thing that happened there is that several of those who were so dedicated to him—temple guards extraordinaire—didn’t get, “Stand watch while I pray.” Why would that be? Darn. Missed another opportunity to find out what was going to happen. But, nonetheless, absolutely assured him, “Of course I’ll do that. I’ll watch over you. Go ahead. Go talk. Enjoy your walk now. Go on. Go on with you.” And what happened? Well, they were tired. It had been a very busy few days. They had just started a new job, just gotten over the flu, had a lot of stress going on in their lives, or many, many other excuses.

But instead of following through with the promise that had been made, they dropped the watch. Fell asleep. And were awakened by what?

Soldiers.

S: Aye. An incredibly awakening event. Typically human, I guarantee it. Do not worry about a thing. I will take care of things. Do not worry. It’s in my hands. Oops. Well, there’s reasons for that: I was so tired. I’m really sorry. I’ve not been myself lately. Or maybe too much yourself lately. And fell asleep. And so often in the life of mass consciousness, and even in the lives of those who are awake and functioning, you fall asleep and it takes a crisis to wake you up and get you going. It may not be a troop of soldiers stomping their way in front of you, but crisis nonetheless that wakes you up and gets you going. That’s perfectly human.

And probably one of the best ones comes right after that. The head of the guard comes up to this fellow who looks like he’s sleeping something off, and says, “Here, there! You! I’m looking for that terrifically outrageous rabble-rouser, Jesus. Do you know him?” And recognizing a cue, the perfectly human being chooses to make things easier for himself. To protect. To survive, in order to be able to serve tomorrow, of course. There’s always a good reason. And says, “Who? Never heard of him.”

Or there’s another response. “Have you seen him? Have you heard of him?” “I have. Just what is it you’re going to do? You better not hurt him or I’ll hurt you first,” and gets violent. I’m going to protect these teachings of love with my sword. That’s perfectly human as well. You’re frightened, you do not know what to do. You’re torn. What is right? And so immediately, as is so often the case with human nature, you revert back to that instinctual survival mechanism. Protect with a vengeance.

Christ Jesus came into this world with a message that said love them. Keep showing cheek is not the same message.

And there’s more. For instance, as he was led away, and eventually indeed sentenced to die by crucifixion, which was another form of stupid human trick, it’s made mention of the one who, being stronger, chose to take up the cross and try to carry it a part of the way, because compassion is also perfectly human. And the ability to take action on that compassion is so rare that it was worthy of mention that one who . . .

S: Aye. Went forth from the crowd and said, “Let me help with this burden.” Compassion and wise action are indeed perfectly human, but are rare, because too often they’re only given in response to What will I get from it? How will this help me? How would you want to go out in history? The one who fell asleep at the watch or the one who said, Let me help, because the gift of humanity is that you have that choice. Your free will gives you that choice to prefer not to know what’s going on, to act by instinct, to function with expectation, to not make use of what’s available. Or to choose to act in love, because it is there.

Jesus was crucified, and it is reported that a few of his disciples got up the guts to watch him die. They had obligations to family, and the tradition of the time was that once death occurred, the family would take the body and so there was always those who were holding vigil. Those who were stuck with custom and following the way things are done in order to make sure things were proper.

And I’m going to make mention of one more rare and powerful act. Jesus was buried indeed in a borrowed tomb, but a tomb that belonged to one who spontaneously saw a need, and gave it away. The reason, I believe, history calls him a rich man is because he was willing to give of what he had. What was needed at that moment was a place for which all of history could be changed. And there was one willing to step in and say, I have something that might work.

When humans are functioning at their highest level, that is very much a signal. That willingness to give what is needed at the moment—it gets better in a moment—so this is how to be perfectly human, following the steps of those who probably had the chance many of you wish you had to walk with Jesus. How different would it have been for you? Well, look at your life now. How different is it now? When those same sorts of situations come into your life, when you’re in the middle of the party, when you’re in the middle of crisis, aye, when your very best friend has died, how is it for you?

Let me tell you now how it is for the divine. The first thing that I want you to be aware of is that Jesus did know. And for those who had ears, they could hear, as he was wont to say. “He who has ears, listen to this, because I’m telling you a lot more than what these words are about. Pay attention here. This is important. My days are numbered,” he said. “I will not be with you for long. In fact, that entry that we had a couple of days ago, it’s the last one.”

I’m going to back up just a minute to remind you of what Christ Jesus was about. Cloaked in flesh, born of a human woman, well, that’s only been in agreement lately. Right. And fully aware of his divine nature. Therefore, capable of using it. Energy that is specifically given at such a high frequency that it is called God’s son. Yes, indeed, all of those New Age minds are sending to me immediately, Well, he said we’re all sons of God. Thank you very much. Those reminders are helpful. But, all right then, let’s go there. So you’re right, he did say, “That which I do you can do more so also.” That “I am here to bring forth a new covenant, a new version of what this religiosity is all about. I am here to awaken in you that which is mine that my Father, that holds me in his hand, will be holding you as well, because I hold you in my hand.” Do you know what that’s saying, even without the incredibly outrageous translations that have come about, in such words? He’s saying right out, “you’re mine. You are what I am. And I and my father are one. You have a place with me forever.” Powerful statements.

So let’s talk about that godness cloaked in form. He knows the end is near, so what does he do? He throws a party. Now, why is it that that’s not recognized as a powerfully important statement? The desire is to come together with those whom you have loved, not to have the final statement. Not to have, This is what I want you to get down for the rest of the world forever. Here’s what I haven’t been able to teach you thus far. Let’s get rolling now. This is the last great teaching. Here it comes.

Or maybe it was, my friends, because you know how the Gods are. They see things differently. What’s important can easily be misconstrued, maybe even missed. Believe me, my darlings, it’s very, very true that saying, Who said this? It’s not the Gods in the road you need to worry about, it’s the ones hiding in the bushes. It’s easy to miss the greatest power, because it shows up in the little things. Jesus’ last great work with his disciples was to have a potluck. To come together and commune. To be the perfect host. Let us come together in celebration. That’s a godly thing to do.

After the celebration, watching one of his key players go out, he says, “You know what I’d like to do right now? I want to go take a walk in the garden.” There is no recorded statement that says the disciples were shocked. Obviously this was something Jesus was wont to do. I want to take a walk in the garden, and I’m going to pray. Are you known for that, by any chance? For loving to get out in the world and just see its beauty through your finger tips. Smell its heady scents through your eyes. Hear it with your heart. And pray. I know, all of the stories now have him going off into the garden and pictures have him kneeling down, sort of like this, praying like you do half the time.

S: Indeed. […] He walked through that garden and smelled the flowers, and recognized His Father in the flowers. And he kicked at the rocks, and he recognized his Father in the rocks. He saw God in the garden, because he saw God, his father, in the flowers. And the garden, because he saw God in every moment. Do you think He needed to set himself apart, and probably . . . something like that, and then come out with the words that he had come up with before? Look, you want to know how to pray? This is it. And so he did the same thing. “Great Father”? No, he said, “Look, we’ve got to talk. There’s a lot going on right now. If it’s possible for the way this is coming about to change, that would be nice, but whatever it is that works for the highest good of all involved to bring about the completion of this plan, I’m for it.”

That is what he said, you know. It was a relationship, an awareness, a clear acceptance of the divine communion that was available to him and through him, that it was a matter of going out into the world and walking the pathways, and recognizing—that’s what the Gods do, they recognize—the divine. And then talk to an old friend. “This is scary. If it’s possible, let it pass. If it’s not, I’m the one.”

Recognizing his cue, he had to go out and heal a guard, confront one of his unruly followers. The form calls it putting out fires. That’s what divine does. What’s needed at the moment to allow the greater plan to progress. All right, look, this is the end of me here. There is that ruckus in the garden, and I know that I am by far too important in this world, I’m here for a very specific purpose, I’m by far too important in this world, I should go out the back way, and let my guardians take care of it. He could have. They only brought one troop. That’s not troops like you have, it’s a few. But divinity moves beyond its own needs for the greater Plan. It forgives. “Oh, my friend, what have you done here? You let your temper get away again, didn’t you? I’ll clean up so that they won’t come after you. I asked you to stay and watch. What happened?” The divine confronts when needed, with compassion always.

Now, of course, you know that at that point that’s the part where Jesus starts railing and getting really angry, and telling them all that they’re just an unworthy group of sops. Right. Not at all. He made his point and that was the end of it, because you see, that was the end of it. Because from there on the only thing mentioned about Jesus is that which relates to his death. Be aware of a couple of things in there though. He did not make excuses. Oh, well, the reason they are saying these things about me is because I had to do . . . no excuses. Are you this one? Are you the one that’s supposed to be coming here and changing everything? Are you inciting these people to riot? Are you saying that you are the King of the Jews. Aye, well, they say that. All right, that’s enough. We’ll get you.

Divinity allows itself to receive when it’s needed. When the Syrian stepped forth and said, “Let me help,” Jesus did. You see, divinity knows to receive as well as it knows the gift it gives to others.

They nailed and lashed him up, and set about preparing for the worst possible form of death. It’s a very cruel suffocation, because all of your connective tissue breaks apart. You can no longer hold yourself up to breathe. The pericardium fills up with fluid. The heart cannot put oxygenated blood through the system. It’s excruciating. Takes two, three, four days. However, divinity controls their death. He had something extremely important to do, two extremely important things to do, and then he said, essentially, I’m out of here. Here I come. And left.

What were those two important things? One of them was his new neighbor started talking to him. In fact, they both did. One of them was derisive. The other was very humbled. Mention is made of Jesus’ reply to one of them, because divinity ignores the slings, the slights. Divinity is not frightened by nor lessened by somebody’s accusation. If you’re who they say, get us all down from here. Get yourself down. But continues on doing what needs to be done for the vision to be fulfilled. But there is note that he did make a reply to the other who said what to him?

“This day you’ll be with me in Paradise.”

S: That’s what he said to him. What did the thief say to him? Asked for forgiveness. He heard that. Divinity recognizes, listens, hears a heartfelt plea, and gives time, encourages, instills confidence, says, “You’ll be with me.”

And then he sent forth his spirit. After he did one of the most outrageous things he could do. He looks down and proves that he’s not human. In the midst of crucifixion, moments before his death, he says, “Will you take care of my mother?” No whining. Once mentioned he was thirsty. No whining, “Oh, this is so miserable. I can hardly breathe. I just hate this. It’s awful. Why me? I always have the worst stuff happen to me. In all of my incarnations, it ends this way. I hate that part. I didn’t know it was going to be such a violent society. I just hate this. I’m not good at this kind of thing.” None of that. There is no record that there was any thought except for others. Recognizing how his absence would be a loss in a society in which the duty of the son was to take care of the family, he asked one of those perfectly human and absolutely reliable disciples, take care of her, all right? That might have been some sort of evil trick, you think? That was a joke. Was not serious. He listened. He gave. He looked out for others to the very end.

At the very end, they were still making fun of him. Those who had never heard the teachings were still making fun of what they thought they understood of them. Look, he says he’s the King of the Jews. He did not [say that], of course. Let’s give him that title. Let’s see who gets the clothes. Let’s rob him. Let’s jeer. Let’s make fun. I’m sure it was quite disappointing when he went so very quickly, so quickly, in fact, that they put the spear through his side to see if water or blood would gush out from the wound. What a pleasant way to find out if someone’s alive or dead. Of course, the pericardial sack full of water. In the midst of that, he left.

Interesting telling of the story this night. But, of course, next month is where the story changes. And I assure you, I will give you a strange rendition there as well, whereas tonight I’m talking about being perfectly human and perfectly divine, and how you can see the difference. The vision and the purpose is what came next.

You know, my friends, this is your life I’m talking about here. You have a choice. You have within your structure the seeds of the sleeping divine power or the seeds of the awakened divine power, but it’s there. What do you choose to do? What do you choose to be? Perfectly human or perfectly divine. You look at your life and answer that question, and you remember, beloved souls, this is not your last day. You still have a choice. Be what you’re here to be.
