Samuel: Hello, dears.
Hello, Samuel.
S: What a great day! Did you love it? Absolutely. It’s just cloudy enough that you’re not sweating too much, humid enough that it feels like you’re by the ocean. Just a really lovely Scottish day. A lot of you know exactly what that’s like. Slightly overcast, occasional sunshine, a lot of damp. Damp—you get used to that. How are you?
Good.
S: Good. How is that? The good. […] How is it for you for things to be good? Because you’ve gone through about a year of things being rather trying. For the purpose perhaps—maybe for somebody—of learning that no matter what the world throws your way, you can manage to be happy in spite of it. And you know that, honestly that is a very hard lesson to learn for most people. In fact, some never get it. You probably know people like that. Bitter and angry till the very end.
I have an unpleasant night for you this night, so I’m warning you ahead of time just in case you want to just pack up and move on out. I understand it, it’s okay. Those of you who are watching, you might want to turn off your computer now because I’m going to be talking about things that are needed now to make your life better. And I want to start off very quickly by saying that I have very big motives—extra motives—about this. If you were at the Lifescapes that I did just recently in Atlanta, you may remember that I spent the first half talking about needs within the physical body. I don’t want to do that in the next few. I want to start with the good stuff. So, I’m going to give you part of a Lifescapes right now but it’s not the pretty part. There is a pretty part, Gwendolyn. There is a pretty part.
Right now you are in the beginning of August, right? Your time is passing quickly, isn’t it? And your time is passing quickly. There are massive energy changes coming your way. I might should stop and warn you if you don’t like when I get airy-fairy, close your ears and start humming. It will help, because I’m about to get very airy-fairy.
From a time and place long ago and far away, from the center of you galaxy itself, there is coming on the out breath massive energy that is creating great change in those who function at very high frequencies. You may remember that I have been talking about this with actually a bit of surprise over the last few months because it is pretty much unexpected. It wasn’t expected that those who were here to help this planet would reach a point in which they could function at a high enough level that they could begin touching into their greater spirit self. Now you know that expression, “You are not a human trying to be spiritual; you are spirit learning to be human.” That’s very, very true, very, very true. I’ve talked to you often about the need to balance the spirit that you are that’s working in this costume, this body that you have come to know and love and hate—abuse, yes. And the physical and the spiritual tended to be at odds, so to speak, because Guardians particularly have a closer connection with spirit and get spirit’s voice, if you will. Of course, it’s not really a voice . . . pushing and reminding, “Jump higher, run faster. Don’t stop, keep going. You’re here to make a difference. Make a difference.”
And I’ve talked to many of you about how it’s very, very hard, because when you start listening to that spirit self, what happens is the physical self basically says, “Oh, no. If you only listen to the spirit self, then I’m going to be in deep trouble!” And it starts making itself known. Now, what are the ways that the body lets itself be known? ( . . . ) Well, you might get sick, it might get temperamental.
Forget that you need to do the meditations, you need to eat the right food.
S: I’m going to say, you start getting stressed enough that you get forgetful, usually by forcing you to pay attention to it in whatever way that happens to be. I would imagine that every one of you in here can think pretty quickly about a way your body gets your attention. It might be that aching back, it might be that sore knee, it might be . . . well, you might have a sickness, or you might have a tendency toward caring too much what people in the world think of you and have a whole series of fears based on fitting in in the earth. It lets itself be known. What if it was the other way around? What if your spirit self could let itself be known that obviously? What if the human and the spirit could function as one, instead of two roommates? You think that would make a difference? You see, that’s what the unexpected thing is. Many are changing. That merged being, that oneness, that new thing is happening.
Now, you might wonder why in the world is that unexpected. Any thoughts? Really?
It wasn’t necessarily in the plan. It sort of existed as a potential, but wasn’t really seen as something that would likely happen at this stage in our development.
S: It never seemed necessary—at any time. But it did not seem necessary because in order for something like that to happen the frequency would have to be so high and the likelihood of that ever happening was so low, that it did not seem realistic. Also, same sort of thing: unexpected that you’d be able to call Shining Force; unexpected that you would put the Grid back together enough that this input could actually make a difference right now. Unexpected . . . , well, I could keep going with it.
You have changed things. You who are willing to be the best you can be; who are willing to live love, no excuses; who are willing to change what your life is about, moving it from it being about you to it being about the greater good, the greater whole. And that there are enough functioning like that that the world is making very quick changes, too, startling sometimes.
Now of course a lot of the change is reactionary, and you have that in yourself as well: the extreme response to something being different. You know people; of course it’s never you, you would never do this, but you probably know somebody whose automatic response is, “No. Talk me into yes.” You know people who think the worst before they think the best. You know people who think of themselves first. You don’t have a conversation with them. You just listen to what’s new in their life and they never ask you about yours. There’s a lot of people in the world like that.
It’s one thing to intend to be the best you can be, but it’s another thing altogether to put feet on that intention and to do something about being the best you can be. It’s one thing to talk about how good it is to have a high frequency; it’s another thing to make sure that you go to Toning so that your body can keep up with that frequency and make for an easy transition. It’s one thing to say that you are here to live love, and another altogether to say that you are here to live love and to make that a part of your everyday life. You’re going to be sure that you make friends that have those same ideals, those same intentions, who also want to live love. And you spend your time and you use your brain not just to see how mushy it can get this week, but to help the world. It’s one thing to come here and take a seat, and listen and laugh, occasionally get yelled at, sometimes thumped; it’s another altogether to give back where you are getting and get involved.
It’s easy not to live up to what you truly are. Right now with this transition that is happening, you have some very, very important needs. And because I am not noticing everybody taking care of those needs, it occurred to me that this might be a good night to tell you what those needs are.
Thank you. Is this the part where we hum?
S: This is the part. And he was at Atlanta. The easiest way to move out of the constant needs of your body, the constant nag, is to give your body what it needs. I’m going to say that the way I was going to originally. The easiest way not to be a slave to the needs of your body is to give your body what it needs. “Samuel, I give my body what it needs all the time. I eat well, I exercise, I go to Toning . . . I . . . ” Pffft!
All right, fingers in ears, quickly, because here it comes.
You put things into your body that end up killing you. There are things in your diet that you’re just messing around with and not paying enough attention to, and if you were to make those changes, you would feel so much better. You would heal so much faster. You would function so much easier, and emotionally—yes, food can have something to do with what’s going on with you emotionally—emotionally you could be so much happier.
Across the board the big one is get meat and meat products out of your life—and when I say meat I mean anything that’s not a plant. The higher on the food chain you eat, the more damage it does to your body. Mind you what I’m saying there is if you could get away with eating rocks and not plants that would be better. If you could get away with eating nothing instead of rocks, that would be better, but the fact is you can’t. What you can do, however, is live well on a plant-based diet. But if you’re going to go to a plant-based diet, please make it the healthiest plants you can get. “I am a vegan, and I eat Oreos and potato chips . . .” Tell me some more vegan junk food. Again?
Pop-Tarts.
S: Pop-Tarts . . . Pop-Tarts—that sounds like something Gwendolyn used to be. A pop tart. And more? Junk food.
Spareribs.
S: All right, that’s definitely junk food, although it’s not vegan junk food. But I would bet there is a vegan version, isn’t there? Which is to say pretty processed to make that work. I saw another couple of hands up in there.
Pringles and Nutter Butters.
French fries.
Jelly beans and orange slices, Skittles.
Reese’s bars.
Sugar’s vegan.
S: And just because it’s vegan doesn’t mean that you get to be a free-range vegan, just go out and pick up whatever dirt you want. The more clean, pure food that you put in, the better your body functions. And I’m going to say this—hum louder now—not everybody can, but if you could eat raw, you would be doing by far better.
Less fructose. Less—how about all “oses,” glucose, and sucrose, less sugar, yes, but particularly fructose. Fructose is out of fruit and does more to throw off your body’s balance than even a teaspoon of sugar, white sugar. Particularly grapes—real fast. I’m not trying to give you a list of things—you can find out all kinds of interesting information; talk to somebody who’s studied these things—but where I’m going is the real red-flag stuff.
Grains are very hard on the body’s ability to manage sugar. They put more stress on the body. But if you cannot live without grain, and I understand why you would not, stay away from wheat. There was a time when wheat was a very healthy product. Wheat now has been rearranged at its very cell level. More people in this society are becoming sensitive to wheat in the last two years than in the last twenty. Wheat creates inflammation. Inflammation is your enemy. You want to stop eating wheat, and I’m not talking gluten, I’m talking wheat. You want to stop eating wheat and surprise yourself with how your energy goes up. Now, gluten as a whole, probably you could do yourself a big favor, staying away from gluten, but if you’re being very careful with grains, you may well find that gluten is not a problem for you at all. It’s not a problem for most. Grains push the cells into overload so the fewer grains you put in your diet, the better you are, but if you cannot give up grain, give up wheat.
You need less caffeine. And when I say less, none is great but you are living in a world that runs on caffeination.
So you’re unloading the sugar, you’re unloading the processed foods as a whole, you’re, oh . . . let me mention potatoes. How many of you did the potato experiment that I gave sometime back. What did you find out?
I hit an energy wall. I just wanted to go to sleep. I hardly had any energy to do anything.
I ate nothing but potatoes and started to feel queasy about twenty minutes later. And usually I can eat potatoes, but eating them alone, I had a reaction.
Head felt fuzzy.
S: A lot of people can eat potatoes just like a lot of people can eat wheat and not find any problem with it. And occasionally eating potatoes you won’t have a problem with it; but regularly getting that much starch, sugar, and lack of fiber. “Really? That great big old potato doesn’t have much fiber?” Not enough to make up for its starch and sugar. But they’re also another remade food. They definitely are free from bugs, they definitely are a pretty average size, they definitely have a pretty good looking skin and a pretty good color about them all the way through. But that is not what a potato should look like. Remember that what you put into your body must nourish you. All right, David.
That doesn’t apply to sweet potatoes or yams, does it?
S: You want to test it yourself. And if you’ve done the test, then it would not. Truth be told, white potatoes are a very different thing altogether than the orange ones are. How do you test to know? You take it out of your diet altogether, and then you put it back in carefully, slowly. And pay attention. Paula.
Moving away from sugar often leads you to get into things like artificial sweeteners because you want sweetness. And you haven’t said anything about things like aspartame.
S: Yet.
You said something about grapes, but I don’t know whether they’re on the bad list or the good list.
S: They’re really, really high-fructose.
Not just the fructose. Even in its pure form in the fruit we want to avoid . . .
S: There are some fruits, like grapes, that are so high, that generally . . . you have probably heard “Eat the peach, not the peach juice,” or something like that. Eat the grape and not the grape juice. But grapes affect your pancreas really fast.
Wine, is that okay?
S: It’s probably the better way.
How about beans and legumes?
S: Let me go back to where I was with the test. You clean it out of your diet, then you slowly put it back in, and you pay attention carefully to your emotional and your mental and your physical self. How am I thinking? How am I feeling? Do I feel grumbly? The bottom line of it is, do your best to eat as clean, as chemical-free—and that’s where the aspartame and all of those—as non-processed as you can.
Now, I don’t live in the real world. Really, I live in the real world and you don’t. But, where you are so busy in your life that there is no time to be able to start a garden and pick your own food and chop it up at night and put it into the oven, and certainly not in the summer when it’s so hot, and, and, and . . . I get that. But you can do better than you have been. And you know it. Your food must nourish you, not indulge you. Your food should nourish you and not be used to comfort you. Your food should make you healthy, not be expected to make you happy. It’s only food. Can you say that? “It’s only food.” Does that mean you cannot have one of Michelle’s incredible vegan cakes? No, it does not mean that. But it means you don’t go around to all of your Phoenix friends and make sure that you get some every day. You’re laughing. Does it mean you never can have a Boca Burger again? No. But it means it’s not your everyday meal. Do your best. While you are feeding the body better, remember to keep it watered.
And the next thing is to exercise it. Now I’m even pushing the form on this one. I know. For you to be able to make the best use of this spiritual connection, a thirty-minute walk a day isn’t going to be enough. You need real exercise. And by that I mean you need to be doing something to help your cardiovascular health. What are you doing for your cardiovascular health now? That means you need to sweat. Get that heart rate up, that you sweat. You also need to strengthen your body. There are two exercises I highly recommend. One of them is plank. I just keep thinking board, and I knew that one’s not right. What is a plank. Anyone know?
You get up on your forearms and your tiptoes and keep your body ramrod straight.
S: That is one way to do it? Another is to be on your knees until you get to where you can be on your toes. Essentially, you are holding your body weight. It doesn’t sound too hard, does it? You’re going to do the horizontal plank. You can find out more about that one. Not so hard to do.
I’ll have to look it up.
S: Are you willing? [Steve demonstrates a squat holding a gallon of water.] A gallon of water is about eight pounds, and you can pretty much get a gallon of water for a dollar, right? It’s not an official weight. And you’ve got to be very careful; for instance, you’ve got to make sure that your chin, you’re not tucking it into your chest, but that it’s down and that your back is straight. You’re going to bend your knees until you can reach that jug of water that is approximately, maybe, six to eight inches in front of your toes, with your feet spread apart holding you balanced. And you’re going to raise it up and hold it, that’s all. Still squatting. Ideally you’re not going to squat quite as low as Steven is capable of right away. You can work to that. But ideally what you are doing with that is you are working every bit of your body. Just like with the plank.
Is it an endurance thing or a repetition?
S: What you’re going to do is hold it maybe ten seconds. You might not be able to hold it ten seconds, you might only be able to hold it three. Work up to that point where you can hold it . . . let’s not even go there. Just keep working at it until you can comfortably hold it. And when you can do that, switch hands while you’re holding it. Move it from two hands to one hand, and move it back, and move it back. And you’re doing this with the jug of water. It’s not real convenient. So you’re not going to be able to throw it from hand to hand.
( . . . )
S: Right now, that’s true. So perhaps what you want to do, if you know that with one hand you cannot even get up to eight pounds, is sit in your chair and do it. And raise it up. You may not can raise it up all the way; you might only can raise it up and put it back down.
Drink some of the water and not make it weigh eight pounds.
S: Perfect. Drink some of that water down and make it not weigh eight pounds. Both of these exercises, and there are a lot of really good ones out there, but these are, you can do them at home, and you don’t have to get special stuff, and it’s not going to cost you a lot of money, and you don’t have to get cute little clothes. They’re very, very simple. All you need to do is two things that work the whole body like an internal massage while you become stronger.
Those of you who already do exercises like those, if not those very ones, what do you feel it doing for you?
I do a reverse plank, but what I find is things are aligning in my body. Muscles are strengthening, bones are moving into alignment, and I have more energy.
S: Yes, yes. Depression and lack of energy are two things that tend to hold many of you back. To be very rudely blunt: you’re not getting enough exercise so that your body doesn’t know how to act. And you’re not feeding yourself well so that you’re getting the right nourishment and chemicals. It’s a real problem. And again, I am not saying everybody has to eat raw; it doesn’t work for everybody. I’m not saying everybody has to give up all of these things. I’m saying you need to know what works for you and do it. No excuses. Do it. Because over these next nine months you are going to be needing a healthy, strong body more than you have in your whole life. Needing it.
Are you going to tell us what for?
S: At the Lifescapes. That’s the second part of it. You cannot adapt to these energy changes without this health. What you will do is you will end up being just like the majority of this culture: unwell, unhappy, unmotivated.
You not only have a remarkable burst of energy coming through particularly from the fall to the spring, but you also have another form of the energy touching into your spiritual nature coming in through your sun. You cannot take advantage with a weak and unhealthy body. You will get sicker. It’s not a threat. It’s just the nature of the beast.
Now, I want you to just stop for a moment. There’s a lot of things I’ve not talked about. One is the incredible importance of sending love, peace, wholeness to the planet. I’ve spoken with Steven about getting together with people, also to Kathy—getting together with people to send energy to each of the kingdoms and then to individual requests. This is so important right now. There must be a counter-action in order to re-balance how things have been for close to seventy-five years now. Must re-balance. Common intent and like visual energy changes things. It’s not going to happen by sitting by yourself in your room. Got to come together. At least three. At least three.
Could it be done on a three-way conference call? Face to face?
S: Three together. Yes. If you know how to make use of a 528-Hz chime or fork, you can use that, but I’ll get into detail about that at the Lifescapes.
When you are going to visit a new friend, and you’ve never been to their house before, and maybe they live out in the country and you’re not real sure where you’re going, do you just “wing it”? No. You probably ask, “Can you tell me how to get there?” And if you’ve got one of those mechanisms that talks to you while you’re driving and says, “Turn right here,” you probably turn that on so that you’re going to have better help. GPS, thank you. You do what you can to make it easier because you don’t want any surprises that could cause problems. It’s time to stop acting like a child and take serious care of your physical, mental, emotional selves. It’s not time to keep looking only at yourself and what you need and how you want it and what feels good to you. That’s part of why America is the fattest country on Earth. Because it’s all about self-indulgence.
As I was saying, that’s not to say that it’s not very healthful to laugh, to be childlike in many things. But this, “I know what I ought to do but I don’t have to. I don’t want to. I won’t,” is going to throw you off the train. And here is the thing: you already know this. You have already been getting it. You’re already in touch with that message. But act on it. Do more. And although it might require you to start slowly, push yourself. Don’t indulge in the, “Well, these are my exercises today.” That’s all right, but tomorrow do more of them, and the next day even more. Do not be stupid. Don’t hurt yourself, but build yourself. And although it will have a profound effect on you, I’m not asking you to do it for you. I’m asking you to do it for this world, because you at your best make a bigger difference.
Oh, there’s so much more. Ask yourself, “What do I need to be doing?” Don’t assume that because I said everybody should be doing this that I’m telling you you must. I am telling you you should. I’m not telling you you must. Talk to yourself, hopefully without a lot of people watching, and ask yourself, “Where can I start now? What choices can I make that will help me be the best I can be?” and do it. Just do it. Does that mean no Skittles? Well, not every day. Have special-occasion comfort food. When you are nourished, you are capable of being a nourisher. You cannot give what you do not have, and you cannot use what is coming your way if you are not strong enough to make use of it. Change. Change it all. No fear.
Glochanumora.
