Enjoy the beauty and power of Scotland with Samuel!

Let Samuel guide you through a land of magic and beauty—which for eons has been a place of sacred power and a pathway long traveled by Guardians. Feel your ancient past come alive as you explore the rugged Highlands, sacred glens, and ancient sites that once echoed with Pictish drums and Celtic rituals.

This trip features 9 in-person meetings with Samuel to lay the groundwork for all future Fifth-Density functions on Earth by anchoring the 5D Gate of Time.

August 28 – September 11, 2026

Connect with your ancient past. You’ll walk in the nearly forgotten footsteps of the Pictish Trail, hike to the standing stones of Machrie Moor on the Isle of Arran, ponder the sacred geometry of the Easter Aquhorthies Stone Circle, and encounter the primeval stillness of the Black Wood of Rannoch, as well as other immersive sites. This journey invites you to step where the ancient ones walked—and to feel their presence guiding you still.

Along the way, you’ll enjoy hearty, plant-based meals, deep connections with nature and like-minded/like-hearted Guardians, and powerful moments of spiritual reflection. Together in 5D individuated unity with others, you’ll merge with the life force of the land and the Elementals who continue to guard it, opening yourself to the wisdom, balance, and renewal that Scotland so freely offers.

This is more than a journey through Scotland’s breathtaking landscapes—it is a pilgrimage into remembering your ancient past.

Loch Rannoch
Your journey with Samuel begins by leaving the hustle and bustle of Edinburgh behind for a tranquil hamlet along the shimmering shores of Loch Rannoch, where the elegant 5-star Dunalastair Hotel cradles you in comfort and calm. It was here, in 2019, that Samuel and a circle of Guardians gathered to awaken a StarGate—its energy centered upon the mythic Mount Schiehallion, the legendary Fairy Mountain where the veil between worlds is said to be thin. Whether you’re returning to this Highland treasure, or experiencing it for the first time, Loch Rannoch fills your spirit, preparing you for what lies ahead.

Click below to learn more about what you’ll do and see in Loch Rannoch.

You’ll step into a powerful moment of Scottish history as we visit the newly reimagined Perth Museum, home to the Stone of Destiny — the ancient coronation stone of Scottish kings and queens. After 700 years, this legendary symbol of sovereignty has finally returned to its ancestral home in Perthshire, where Scotland’s monarchs were once crowned.

As you stand before the Stone, you’re invited into the centuries of ritual and resilience held within this unassuming block of sandstone. It’s a chance to connect with the storied land beneath your feet — the lineage, the struggle, the triumph — and to honor the deep roots of the land we’re journeying through.

We’ll stretch our legs, explore the museum’s stunning new galleries, and take a breath together before continuing into the Highlands. A moment of reflection… a brush with legend… and the perfect midpoint pause on our path north.

Step into one of Scotland’s most sacred landscapes, the Black Wood of Rannoch, a rare surviving remnant of the ancient Caledonian Forest that once blanketed the Highlands. Here, time slows, light softens, and every breath carries the scent of pine and earth unchanged for millennia.

Our group will pause along the quiet south shore of Loch Rannoch where a short, well-marked path leads directly into the heart of this primeval woodland. Within moments, you’ll find yourself surrounded by towering Scots pines, graceful birch, and a mossy green hush that feels almost otherworldly.

This is not a strenuous hike, but an invitation to wander as you wish. You may choose to take a brief contemplative walk beneath the trees or follow the gentle loop trail that winds deeper into the forest’s stillness. Either way, you’ll encounter the living spirit of the Caledonian wild—a magical place where red squirrels dart through the branches, ancient roots cradle the earth, and sunlight filters like gold through the canopy.

For many, this stop becomes a moment of quiet awe—a chance to connect with Scotland’s untamed soul and the enduring wisdom of nature.

Your journey continues to the peaceful hills near Loch Rannoch, the filming location of Outlander’s legendary Craigh na Dun. Though no standing stones rise here, the landscape itself carries a quiet enchantment. The air feels charged with possibility, the light soft and shifting, as if the veil between worlds might lift at any moment. It’s a place that invites reflection, wonder, and the enduring magic of the Highlands.

Your journey east toward Aberdeen carries you first to Queen’s View, just outside Pitlochry, where the Highland landscape unfurls in breathtaking beauty. From this vantage, the Tay Valley stretches before you, its rivers, forests, and distant hills blending in a mosaic of green and gold. As you take in the vista, the wind brushes your face and the open sky seems to expand, inviting a deep, mindful breath. It is easy to imagine why Queen Victoria herself found inspiration here—the scene holds both quiet strength and expansive possibility.

Take a moment to pause, to let the view sink in, and to feel the pulse of the land beneath your feet. At Queen’s View, the Highlands reveal themselves not only to the eyes but to the heart, offering a rare chance to connect with Scotland’s natural beauty and the timeless rhythms that have shaped this land.

Aberdeen & the Pictish Lands: Stones of Mystery and Power

The next leg of your journey takes you to the storied lands of Aberdeenshire, a region steeped in ancient history and Pictish legend. Rolling hills, sparkling rivers, and windswept coastlines whisper of a people whose symbols and stones have endured for millennia.

The Picts left their mark not only in stone but in the landscape itself, a tapestry of myth and memory waiting to be felt. Every hill, every grove, still hums with the presence of those who once communed with the land.

Along the cliffs of Dunnottar, the wind carries stories older than the castle below. Here, overlooking the solitary rock of Dunnicaer, you stand above what may be the earliest known Pictish foothold in Scotland. Though the carved stones that once marked their presence have long been lifted from the site, the land itself still feels etched with memory.

As you walk the cliffside paths, you consciously open your feet to the Elementals of earth, grounding yourself in the ancient power held in these stones and soil. Around you, the wind—the element of air—moves through the grasses and across the sea, stirring the senses. The sun’s warmth against your skin kindles the quiet spark of fire within you, while below, the restless waves crash against the rock, carrying the steady pulse of water’s timeless rhythm.

In this meeting place of elements, where sea, sky, wind, and stone converge, you sense the raw beauty of a landscape that once shaped the earliest Pictish people—and feel the whisper of their beginnings moving through the air.

Step into a landscape that has witnessed thousands of years. At Broomend of Crichie, on a grassy field just outside the village of Aberchirder, you’ll encounter the earthworks of a venerable henge and the faint echoes of a stone circle that once stood here. Although only a few monoliths remain and the giant recumbent slabs typical of this region are gone, the setting still pulses with ancient purpose.

Wander around the bank and ditch, touch the solitary carved stone that bears Pictish symbols, and let your imagination stir with the images of tribes who gathered here. The open sky, the faint patterns of stone and earth, and the sense of being part of something much older invite you to walk not just through space, but through time itself.

A short drive brings you to the Time Gate of the Easter Aquhorthies, one of Scotland’s most perfectly preserved stone circles. Its upright stones form a serene and harmonious ring, inviting you to step within and feel the presence of those who once honored this sacred space. Pause, breathe in the countryside, and imagine the ceremonies, stories, and gatherings that unfolded here thousands of years ago. Every stone holds a whisper of the past—a rare chance to explore your own history.

Where Rivers Meet: Inverness, Heart of the Pictish North

Your path now leads northwest to Inverness, where the River Ness flows into the Moray Firth—a place long regarded as the heart of the Pictish North. Here, the land still holds echoes of ancient power. Long before the city took shape, this was a gathering ground for tribes, a crossroads where stories, trade, and traditions met.

As you explore Inverness, you walk the same ground the Picts once knew, where carved stones marked their beliefs and rivers carried their legends to the sea. The gentle current, the curve of the hills, and the quiet strength of the landscape all carry their enduring spirit. Take a moment to stand by the water’s edge, feel the wind, and sense the continuity between their world and ours.

Click below to learn more about what you’ll do and see in Inverness.

Leaving Aberdeenshire, your path takes you to Burghead, where sea meets stone and the past feels close enough to touch. Here, atop a rugged headland overlooking the Moray Firth, once stood a mighty Pictish fort—the largest known in Scotland. Little remains today, but as you walk across the grassy earthworks, the wind sweeps in from the sea, and the sound of waves fills the air. It feels easier here to connect to the Picts whose eyes once scanned this very horizon, guarding their settlement against the shifting tides of time.

Beneath the headland lies the Holy Well—a hidden chamber carved into rock, where cold, clear water still flows. Step inside and feel the change: the air cooler, the silence deeper. This was a sacred place, a meeting point between the earthly and the divine. Standing here, surrounded by the power of earth, wind, sea, and sky, you can almost feel the pulse of ancient devotion echoing through time.

Exploring the windswept heights of Burghead Fort and its Holy Well nourishes your soul, but your body needs sustenance, too! Fortunately, a short distance away lies Findhorn—a tranquil village where sea, sand, and sky blend in soft harmony. Here, you’ll enjoy a hearty, plant-based lunch celebrating the spirit of both land and sea.

But Findhorn is more than a pit stop—it’s a living experiment in harmony with nature. Founded in the early 1960s on what was once barren dunes, the Findhorn community blossomed into a flourishing eco-village through cooperation with the devas, the subtle intelligences of the natural world. Through deep listening and co-creation, they transformed the land into lush gardens and a global center for spiritual ecology.

As you visit, allow yourself to feel that same quiet vitality in the air—the sense that everything here, from the food to the wind off the bay, carries a blessing. This is a place that feeds more than the body—it nourishes the spirit, too.

At the Inverness Museum, you’ll stand face-to-face with one of the Highlands’ most stunning collections of Pictish stones—a rare chance to encounter these ancient masterpieces at arm’s length. As you move through the softly lit galleries, the stones beckon you to explore the deliberate carvings etched into each surface. Spirals, beasts, crescents, and symbols whose meanings remain elusive even today—few artifacts in Scotland carry such exquisite detail or such enduring mystery.

Here, the past feels startlingly present. The weathered grooves beneath your gaze, the delicate lines cut by hands more than a millennium gone, and the unmistakably enigmatic sense of meaning held in every motif all invite you to pause, breathe, and listen. This remarkable collection becomes a threshold—an encounter with a culture that left no written language, yet spoke profoundly through stone.

In this quiet space, you’re not just observing history; you’re touching the echo of a people who shaped the spirit of the Highlands at a time of transition. It’s a moment where time thins, and the mystery of the Picts feels almost within reach.

Heading south from Inverness, your journey now brings you to the legendary shores of Loch Ness, where ancient waters hold stories older than time itself. Long before Urquhart Castle’s crumbling towers watched over the loch, this was sacred ground for the Picts, whose presence still whispers through the stones. Though their fort has vanished into the earth, their spirit lingers—guardians of a deeper history that predates written record.

As you stand on the windswept headland of Urquhart Castle, listen to the murmur of the loch below, the cry of gulls, and the breath of the Highland wind. Feel how the ages converge here—from the Picts’ hidden stronghold to the medieval fortress that rose in its stead. This is a place of endurance and mystery, where every ripple on the water carries the memory of those who once called it home.

In the deep fold of Glencoe, the Three Sisters rise like silent guardians above the glen, with steep ridges and shadowed corries/quarries lending the land a solemn beauty. Long before the clans, ancient peoples — the Picts among them — moved through the Highlands guided by valleys and passes such as these, where travel was shaped as much by story as by terrain.

We pause here simply to breathe, to stretch, and to take in the wide sweep of rock and sky. In Scotland, high passes often served as thresholds between worlds — one valley opening into the next, and perspectives shifting along the way. The Sisters do not speak, yet their presence reminds us that the land teaches quietly, through the deep insistence of beauty.

Kilmartin: Where History Meets Myth

Traveling along Loch Ness, the next destination on your journey takes you to the rolling hills and lush valleys of Kilmartin, a place where history seems to breathe from the very earth. Here, the landscape is dotted with mysterious standing stones, burial cairns, and ancient forts—silent witnesses to millennia of human presence. This area, once home to the Picts, Scotland’s enigmatic early inhabitants, invites you to walk in the footsteps of the past and sense the stories carved into its stones.

Click below to learn more about what you’ll do and see in Kilmartin.

Scattered across the Kilmartin valley, these standing stones offer a remarkable glimpse into Scotland’s Neolithic and Bronze Age past. Some stand alone, others cluster in small groups, all carrying centuries of human intention and ritual.

Walking among them, you can imagine the ancient communities that once gathered here—marking sacred space, celebrating the turning of seasons, and leaving a tangible imprint on the land that still resonates today.

Next, you’re drawn to the inauguration site of the early kings of Scotland, Dunadd Fort. Perched dramatically atop a rocky outcrop, Dunadd Fort crowned the stronghold of the early kings of Dál Riata, an ancient Celtic kingdom.

A scramble to the summit rewards you with sweeping views of vast marshlands, distant hills, with the winding River Add below. Standing before the same commanding vista that crowned the gaze of ancient kings leaves you both awed and deeply inspired.

Here, carved into living stone, you’ll find the famed footprint believed to have played a central role in royal coronation rituals. According to tradition, it was on this very rock that Fergus Mór, one of the first kings of Scotland, was inaugurated around AD 500.

Dunadd stands as a testament to the power, strategy, and spiritual significance of early Scottish rulers, offering you a profound connection to the intertwined Pictish and Gaelic past.

On your journey to the Isle of Arran, we’ll stop for a brief stretch break at Achnabreck, where the hillside is alive with hundreds of prehistoric cup and ring marks, some of which stretch nearly a meter across, spiraling outward in intricate patterns that whisper of ancient lives, beliefs, and rituals.

This remarkable site, only steps from the car park, is one of Scotland’s most impressive rock‑art landscapes, offering a rare window into the creativity of a different time.

The Isle of Arran: Scotland in One Enchanted Island

Our journey now carries you to the Isle of Arran, a land often called “Scotland in miniature” for the way it gathers mountains, moors, forests, coastlines, and ancient sites into one enchanted place. As we ferry to Arran, you’ll feel the landscape shifting—becoming wilder, more intimate, and quietly magical, as though the island has been waiting for you.

Here, sacred history rises from the earth in stones and ruins, while the wind carries stories older than memory. On Arran, you’re invited to listen with your whole being, to let the land speak, and to sense the deeper rhythms beneath its beauty. It is here that you’ll join Samuel and other Guardians in individuated unity to lay the groundwork for all future Fifth-Density functions on Earth, as we anchor the 5D Gate of Time.

Click below to learn more about what you’ll do and see on the Isle of Arran.

First, we’ll ferry to Lochranza—an ancient Gaelic/Norse word meaning “rowan lake”—at the northern tip of Arran, where Lochranza Castle rises in quiet dignity beside the tidal waters. For many in Samuel’s work, this place feels like coming home. As you step onto its shore, the wind greets you first—brisk, salty, and alive with movement—carrying the calls of seabirds and the soft rhythm of waves lapping at the stones. The castle’s weathered walls stand like an old guardian, not imposing, but steady, as though still keeping watch over the glen and sea loch.

Here, you’ll feel the mingling of the island’s wild magic with its long lineage of human history. Take a moment to breathe it in: the shifting light on the water, the echo of footsteps that once crossed these ruined halls, and the sense that the past is never far from your heart on Arran—it’s simply waiting for you to listen.

Your adventure continues with a gentle 1.2-mile pilgrimage on foot to the expansive quiet of Machrie Moor, where rolling fields open into a broad, windswept landscape crowned with ancient standing stones. As you walk the footpath toward the circles, the world around you seems to widen—sound stretching farther, the air growing clearer, and time itself loosening its grip. The stones rise unexpectedly from the moor, tall and solemn, each one shaped by both human hands and the relentless artistry of weather and centuries. Here, you’ll feel the land’s deep pulse beneath your feet, a steady presence that has held rituals, gatherings, and mysteries now lost to memory.

The wind carries a gentle reminder across the heather: that you have been here before, that you are standing in a place where the veil between worlds has always been thin. Take your time here. The moor speaks softly, but it speaks to those who walk with open feet and open hearts.

UK ELECTRONIC TRAVEL AUTHORIZATION (ETA)

Beginning in 2025, U.S. passport holders are required to obtain a United Kingdom Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) prior to entering the U.K. (this includes Scotland). The ETA is not a visa, but an electronic entry approval connected to your passport, and is needed before you board your flight. The ETA allows short stays for tourism of up to six months.

At the time of writing, the ETA costs £16 (approximately $22 USD) and is typically valid for multiple entries over two years or until your passport expires. Applications are completed online through the U.K. government’s official website.

For the most up-to-date information and to apply, please visit:
Official ETA Overview: https://www.gov.uk/eta
Apply for an ETA: https://apply-for-an-eta.homeoffice.gov.uk/

It is each traveler’s responsibility to secure their ETA prior to departure. Please note that travelers who do not obtain the required authorization may be denied boarding or entry into the U.K., and standard cancellation and refund policies will apply.

FITNESS LEVEL

This is Scotland, so this journey includes site visits that involve a fair amount of walking, sometimes over uneven terrain or with gentle elevation changes. Participants should be comfortable maintaining a “moderate” level of activity. We encourage you to check with your healthcare provider before registering to ensure you’re fit for international travel.

You’re never required to participate in every site visit on this trip. While we hope you’ll join in as much as you comfortably can, we understand that everyone has different needs and energy levels. You’re always free to opt out of a site visit for physical or personal reasons. Please note that some visits take place on travel days between hotels; in which case you’re welcome to rest on the bus or relax at a nearby café or visitor center.

EarthLight reserves the right to decline registration for anyone not physically, mentally, or emotionally prepared for the rigors of group international travel. It’s never happened, but EarthLight reserves the right to ask participants to leave the tour if their condition or behavior jeopardizes their safety and/or the safety of the group, or is disruptive to the overall group experience.

If you have questions about this policy, minimum activity level, or your ability to participate, please email us at info@discoversamuel.com.

SPECIAL ARRANGEMENTS

If you have any physical/medical/dietary conditions that require special attention, please include those details in your registration form. We will communicate your needs to our suppliers and do our best to see that they are accommodated.

While EarthLight, Lea, and Stuart will do their best to accommodate your special needs, we cannot guarantee that all needs will be fully met, nor can we be held liable if they’re not.

ROOMMATES

At Samuel’s request, accommodations on group trips are available only on a double occupancy basis (single rooms are not available, so please do not request them). If you sign up without a roommate, we will pair you with another participant of the same gender when the final rooming lists are prepared. However, if there is an uneven number of male and female participants without roommates and the trip does not sell out, each person may be assigned a single room at no additional cost. If the trip does sell out, participants of different genders may need to share a room.

BED REQUESTS

Some hotels have a limited number of rooms with two separate beds. Non-couples are prioritized for these rooms. If twin-bed rooms are unavailable, roommates may need to share a bed or use a sofa bed or rollaway. In all of our years of group travel this rarely happens, but it’s wise to keep in mind. Room assignments will depend on the final mix of couples and individual travelers.

Thank you for your flexibility as we work to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone.

ADA ACCESSIBLE ROOM REQUESTS

A limited number of accessible rooms are available. Please email info@discoversamuel.com for more information.

COVID-19

Your health and the health of the group is important to us! We will do everything possible to help keep our group healthy, and we asked that each participant take personal responsibility for their well-being which affects the whole group.

Because some of our travelers (including Lea) are immunocompromised or taking immune-suppressing medications, we currently request everyone work in unity and respectfully properly masking during group meetings and while on the bus. Thank you for honoring this request and helping ensure that everyone stays well throughout our journey.

While vaccination is not required to participate, we encourage all travelers to be up to date on their vaccinations and boosters unless there is a valid reason not to be.

Please remember that if Lea becomes ill, it will affect the group’s ability to experience Samuel’s presence and our work together. Your cooperation and care help make this shared experience possible for all of us.

Thank you!

WAITING LIST

If all 46 spots for the trip are filled, you may request to be added to the waiting list by completing the online registration and submitting your initial deposit.

If a space does not become available, your payment will be fully refunded. If a spot becomes available, you will be notified and given five days to accept or decline the space. If we’ve not heard from you after five days, we will consider that you’ve declined the offer, remove you from the waiting list, and refund the money you’ve paid.

LATE REGISTRATION

Due to our service providers requirements, registrations received after July 28, 2026, are subject to availability, even if fewer than 46 participants are signed up.

To secure a late registration, full payment and a completed registration form must be submitted the same day. Thank you for helping us keep planning and accommodations smooth for everyone.

POSTDATED CHECKS

Please do not register with a postdated check. Postdated checks may be deposited or returned at our discretion. If returned, you may be responsible for late fees. Thank you for helping us maintain a smooth registration process.

RETURNED CHECKS

EarthLight will pass on to you any fees incurred due to returned checks, non-funded ACH or credit card payments. This fee is separate from the cost of your trip. We appreciate your promptness in resolving any outstanding fees.

TRIP INSURANCE

Trip insurance is not included but is strongly recommended. Insurance may cover trip cancellation, trip interruption, lost luggage, medical care, and transportation home.

Some key points to consider:

  • Some policies do not cover COVID-19; at the time of writing, certain providers, like Allianz Travel, do.
  • “Cancel for any reason” policies can reimburse 50–75% of trip costs. Coverage for pre-existing conditions may be available, be sure to check the policy before purchasing to determine what its actual conditions are. For some policies you need to pay for the policy within X number of days of your first payment you make on the trip. This may be the date of your first payment to EarthLight or the date your first pay for your airfare, whichever is earliest. Other policies require it be purchased within a certain number of days before the last payment of the trip whether it is to EarthLight or for airfare.

Please be sure you understand these requirements if you are wanting coverage for pre-existing conditions. Remember, you are responsible for the payment of any medical care costs you incur during the trip. Check with your personal health insurance to determine if international health coverage is included. Even if it is, you may want to have travel insurance to cover trip cancellation, trip interruption, lost luggage, and transportation that may be required due to illness or injury.”

We encourage all participants to secure insurance to protect themselves, their investment, and the group experience.

CANCELLATION INFORMATION & FEE SCHEDULE

How to Cancel:
Cancellation is effective when we receive your clear notification which must be submitted by email to: info@discoversamuel.com. Refunds will be made by check or credit card (depending on which you used to register).

Cancellation Fees:
Cancellation fees increase as the trip date approaches and are based on the discounted trip price; if you paid by credit card, your cancellation fee will be calculated on the non-discounted amount of your payment(s). Applicable late or returned check fees will be added to the cancellation fees.

Cancellation Fee Schedule

  • With registration—$500
  • March 1—$750 ($1,250 total)
  • May 1—$1,000 ($2,250 total)
  • August 1—Fully non-refundable

Cancellation fees do not include any returned check fees (which are nonrefundable).

We understand that plans can change and appreciate your prompt communication which allows us to assist you efficiently and help maintain the best experience for the entire group.

NO TRANSFERS OF REGISTRATION

If you cancel your registration or otherwise drop out of the trip, your registration will become null and void and cannot be transferred to another person. Even if someone else fills your space, refunds will only be issued as outlined in the cancellation policy above.

We strongly encourage protecting yourself with trip cancellation insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.

REINSTATEMENT

If you cancel, you may be reinstated if space is available.

To reinstate your registration, you must pay either the total cost of the trip or the total amount due under your payment plan at the time of reinstatement, minus the actual trip costs withheld by EarthLight at the time of your cancellation.

Please note that late fees, or returned check fees paid before cancellation will not be credited toward the cost of the trip.

NO SHOWS

If you do not attend the trip as scheduled or choose to leave during the trip, EarthLight will be unable to provide any refund.

EMERGENCY CARE AND EMERGENCY CONTACT PERSON

All registrants are required to provide emergency contact information at the time of registration. Please note that Lea, Stuart, and any service providers contracted by EarthLight are not trained nor required to provide first aid or medical care.

In the event of an accident or illness, we will do our best to ensure that first aid is provided. However, Lea, Stuart, and contracted service providers are not responsible for providing—or covering the costs of—first aid, medical transportation, medical care, or communications with caregivers.

Of course, Stuart, Lea (and Frank working from Lexington) will, as soon as possible, contact the person you have listed as your emergency contact to inform them of what has occurred and where you are being treated.

Please ensure your emergency contact has a copy of all relevant documents, including travel insurance information, health insurance papers, your itinerary, and any other necessary paperwork.

FRANK, LEA, STUART & EARTHLIGHT, INC.

Any references to “Frank, Lea, and Stuart” refer to Frank Schultz, Lea Schultz, and Stuart Waldner, who are the owners and employees of EarthLight, Inc., a Kentucky corporation.

IF EARTHLIGHT MUST CANCEL

Unfortunately, we have not been able to obtain insurance to cover a cancellation of this trip by EarthLight for any reason, including the inability of Lea/Samuel to participate in some or all of the trip.

Unless our suppliers are willing to renegotiate their contracts, if Lea is unable—or becomes unable—to participate in or complete the trip, the journey will continue without her/Samuel’s participation. In that case, we will refund the portion of your registration fee allocated for your time with Samuel, on a pro rata basis. In such a scenario, neither Lea nor Stuart will remain with the group, but the trip will continue as scheduled without further meetings with Samuel.

This situation has never occurred, and we sincerely hope it does not.

WEATHER

In August and September, the Scottish Highlands experience relatively mild but changeable weather.

  • August tends to be one of the warmer months, with daytime highs averaging 60–66°F (15–19°C). It’s generally lush and green, but brief showers are common, often mixed with bright, clear spells. The days are still long, and evenings can be pleasantly cool.
  • September brings the first hints of autumn. Temperatures typically range from 55–62°F (13–17°C), with crisper mornings and a golden tint to the hills. Rain remains likely but is often light and intermittent, and midges (biting insects) begin to fade as the month progresses.

Overall, the Highlands in late summer to early autumn offer fresh air, dramatic light, and ever-changing skies—perfect for travelers who don’t mind a little mist with their magic.

Your safety is a top priority for EarthLight and our service providers. As a result, the schedule may be adjusted as needed due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.

PRIVACY

EarthLight does not share who is and isn’t registered for a trip except as needed by our hotels for rooming lists, and to pair participants as roommates for those who registered without one.

By submitting your deposit, you grant EarthLight, Inc. permission to share any personal information requested by our service providers, including—but not limited to—your full name and contact information.
